Well, CW’s new “90210″ first season was a success in my opinion after starting out kind of slow for me. Things started to pick up. And it ended with an Annie Bang! Now, I’ve just got some info from a couple of sources on what’s going to be going for the upcoming 2nd season. First of all I’ve been told that it’s supposed to start on August 31,2009 which is kind of early compared to most other shows that sometimes wait until October.

All the regular cast members will be returning except for Dustin Miligan who played Ethan. The rest of the regulars include : Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup, Tristan Wilds,AnnaLynne McCord, Rob Estes,Ryan Eggold, Michael Steger,and Lori Loughlin. Jessica Lowndes who plays Adrianna Tate-Duncan and Matt Lanter who plays the new comer Liam Court, will be bumped up to regulars next season.

It’s been reported that Dustin Miligan who plays Ethan will return to wrap up his storyline,and then his character will go away to Lacrosse Camp. The first episode of the season will be entitled “Welcome Back”. Jessica Lowndes has stated that she knows next year is going to start with a whole fresh start. She says, ” The whole season is going to be different. Some storylines might just evolve and disappear, or just reappear”.

” Of course it’s going to change Annie inevitably. She’s going to be a totally different character”. “Annie is going to going through a lot of changes with this character”. Annie’s character is going to be headed down some really dark roads that will affect all the characters. She also said that Erin Silver’s bi polar disease has just begun. She’s headed down a much longer path with it. Also Shenae Grimes who plays Annie says that someone dies on the show,but she doesn’t know who,yet. However, she’s very curious to find out.

According to E! online’s spoiler session, AnnaLynne McCord who plays Naomi Clark on the CW’s 90210 stated that the cast just found out who Annie Wilson (Shenae Grimes) hit with her car . She couldn’t say who it was,but she said,”It’s really bad”.

Anna also said that in the upcoming second season, Naomi is over Liam and Annie. She will go through the first half of the season trying to prove that to herself,but she doesn’t think she’s really over him. “We’ll see that push and pull”. Matt Lanter who plays Liam on the show also chimed in with some “dish”. He said,”We’re going to get into his family life a little bit more. It’s 90210 so I’m sure there are going to be some new romances and some jealousy and backstabbing.”

Access Hollywood reports that the CW’s “90210″ has recruited former “Days Of Our Lives” soap star Trevor Donovan to play a new character named Teddy. He will be a high school junior, charming tennis star, and son of a celebrity. It is reported that he will be having an eye from Annie.

They have recently started filming for their new 2nd season. Trevor Donovan is also an ex-Abercrombie & Fitch model. He is the latest guy to be cast on the show, following Matt Lanter who plays bad boy Liam Court who currently has Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) all caught up in a daze.

We’ve got a long, hot summer to ponder all the things that happened on our favorite shows, and possibly the most intriguing imponderable is just what the heck happened to Annie on 90210? We talked to Shenae Grimes about her theories on why Annie snapped, what sort of consequences she may be facing, and what get her into all this trouble int eh first place. (Hint: Boys!) Take a look!

When the 21st century version of 90210 debuted on the CW last fall, many doubters didn’t give the update of the ’90s teen sudser a chance to make it through the first season. But the young cast of the show proved everyone wrong, and they’re now preparing to return for another go around the halls of Beverly High.

One of the show’s stars, Shenae Grimes, recently talked to JustJared.com, and gave her wish list for how she sees her character, Annie, developing when the show returns in the fall.

Talking about her character’s 180-degree turn toward the end of the premiere season, Shenae says, “Annie was a good, good, good girl all year long, always smiling and being pushed around by mean kids at Beverly High and finally she put her foot down. I’m excited, I hope she keeps that foot down for a little while and stirs up a little trouble, gets herself into some messes and learn some lessons! That’s what high school is all about.”

Of course, you’ll have to take that with a grain of salt, as even 19-year-old Shenae admits that — having been on TV for most of her adolescence — she might have a skewed idea of what the high school experience is supposed to be.

“In a weird way, the acting role has kind of been my high school,” she tells Jared. “I’ve been doing it since I was 14 so Degrassi was my high school world, I kind of grew up in a professional driven world, and that definitely taught me a lot of lessons!”

Yesterday Paramount Home Entertainment and CBS DVD announced that the new remake series will come home on August 11th with 90210 – The 1st Season. This 6-DVD set running 987 minutes will include Cast Commentaries on Selected Episodes, plus Behind-The-Scenes Featurettes about the show’s music, fashion, sets, and more. Cost is $49.99 SRP.
